Photography Proposal for Mey & Co.

Overview

This proposal outlines a collaborative photography partnership between Meredith Brockington and Mey & Co. to support the launch and ongoing documentation of your new furniture line. With two curated collections released each year, this work will focus on capturing both the form and feeling of each piece—bridging clean product photography with styled, narrative-driven imagery.

Together, we’ll bring to life the story behind each object—elevating the artistry, intention, and aesthetic that define Mey & Co.

Scope of Work

Each collection will include 20–30 pieces, a mix of custom furniture, vintage finds, lighting, and sculptural accessories. The visual approach will combine:

• Simple, clean product photography (ideal for e-commerce and digital cataloging)

• Styled vignettes and detail-driven shots that convey texture, mood, and brand identity

• Alternate views capturing a full sense of form and craftsmanship

This scope may span multiple shoot days and require some flexibility as items arrive from vendors and are finalized for release.

Process

Given the scale and nature of the project—including documentation of new items as they are sourced—I’ve outlined a thoughtful and flexible process to ensure your team has high-quality, on-brand imagery ready in time for each collection launch.

Our sessions will take place at Mey & Co.’s studio in Portland, a space formerly used for natural light photography, perfectly suited for capturing texture, materiality, and the quiet beauty of each piece.

From sculpted chair legs to the character of a vintage vase, every lighting choice and angle will be made with intention—creating emotional, editorial-quality visuals that honor the spirit of your work.

As a Portland-based photographer, I’m nearby and available for short-form sessions that align with your production timeline. While my calendar is often booked in advance, I’m committed to building a collaborative rhythm that supports the ebb and flow of your sourcing and design process.

This flexibility allows us to capture pieces as they arrive and build a visual archive that is not only beautiful but timely and strategic.

Deliverables

• Post-production completed within 7 business days of each shoot

• Final image delivery via a curated online gallery, sent within 7–10 business days

• Each gallery will remain live for 3 months for easy access and download

• Files will be high-resolution, web-optimized, and formatted for ongoing use in:

  • Website

  • Social media

  • Digital marketing

  • Internal catalogs or lookbooks

Pricing Options

(To be tailored based on your needs)

Option 1: Multi-Session Series – $6,000

• 3 shoot days (4-hour windows each)

• Up to 60 final images

• One hero image and one detailed shot per product

• 5-year licensing for website, organic social, and digital marketing

Option 2: All-Inclusive Flat Rate – $8,500

• Up to 4 visits (4-hour windows each)

• Up to 100 final images (40 more than Option 1)

• One hero image and 2–3 detailed shots per product

• Expanded styling and comprehensive editing

• Full usage rights

• Priority scheduling and streamlined planning

Option 3: Monthly Retainer (3-month minimum) – $3,000/month

• Up to 2 shoot days per month (4 hours each)

• Approx. 25 final images per shoot day

• Total of 150 final images over 3 months

• Ongoing delivery aligned with your launch calendar

• Flexible scheduling to fit your sourcing and creative process

• 5-year licensing included

Option 4: À La Carte

• Minimum booking fee: $1,900 (covers up to 4 hours)

• Additional time: $550/hour

• Image licensing: $75/image (5-year term)

• For occasional, supplemental shoots that fall outside larger collection workflows. Designed to maintain creative consistency while respecting studio priorities.

Please note: All bookings require a signed contract. Cancellations made within 7 days of a scheduled shoot are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
